What our parents say
My lad has been a water baby all his life. However, his swimming club were looking to get him train 4 to 5 times a week and eventually he just got bored. He had a taster session with NTri in Abington Park just before the Summer Holidays and had a brilliant time. He could not wait until the new term began, so that he could get into the training. Now twice a week he trains at all three disciplines. I love how enthusiastic he is and the fact that he is always ready to go when the day comes.
“Our daughter was a member of a running club previously, but found training for a single sport a tad repetitive. Since joining NTri she has come on in leaps and bounds. Her swimming has improved immensely, she has gone from barely being able to swim 50 metres to clocking up 2km each session. She has made some great friends through the club and I have to say… so have we!”
“We are delighted with the progress our child has made since joining NTri. They have grown both athletically and socially. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all the coaches and volunteers for their efforts over the years.”
Building on the success of Beachborough’s Triathlon over the last few years, this year’s Triathlon will take place on Sunday 17th June at Stowe School. The school have also confirmed that they will be running the 4 x Mixed Relays event again, on the same day after the Triathlon event. NTri put out two teams in […]
British Triathlon have posted a provisional list of events for the East Midlands Junior Series. Unfortunately our closest event looks to be around 70 miles away with no events in either Northamptonshire or Leicestershire. As the list is only provisional, hopefully things will change and we’ll get an event or two a bit closer to […]
Kimbolton Triathlon is set in the beautiful grounds of 16th Century Kimbolton Castle, once home to the Dukes of Manchester and now an immaculate, fee paying boarding school. When booking our triathlon entry, we allowed images of quintessential English summer picnics, sipping Pimms whilst wearing straw boaters and clapping using only our fingers – to […]
